When to go?
It all depends on the objectives you have in mind. If it’s a family trip, a business field trip, a bachelorette party, weekend getaway, wine connoisseur, or any other.
Vendimia (harvest) party is held every year in Viñedo San Miguel. In which all attendees dress in white and sign-up to the experience of wine-making, and other related activities. Normally celebrated any day between August through October. Warm weather starts to disappear, meaning grapes are ready to be harvested. As a result, along with plenty other activities and celebrations will take place. You will be able to attend if reserved with anticipation, limited availability.
On another hand, winter is also a great time to visit too. Experience the enchanting beauty as you step onto the maybe snowed grounds of the tuscan vineyard. You'll be greeted by a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The bare vines, gracefully adorned with delicate frost, create a picturesque scene that is truly captivating. Embrace the tranquility and beauty of a vineyard visit in winter. Where the marriage of nature's elements and the art of winemaking create a truly remarkable journey for your senses.
How to dress?
Attending the Vendimia Party? Weather will be excellent, probably a bit too hot for people not used to hot temperatures. Especially doing activities, like walking up or down the vineyards, cutting grapes, watching the process. Must be able to walk-hike through the vineyards. So high-heels are a no if you want to do the activities. Tall knee embroidered leather boots and a dress, will do the work during the day. However, as months go by, San Miguel de Allende has a great temperature during daytime. But need a vest at night since it can get a little bit chilly, especially when the sun sets.
Men are easier to get along with outfits. I wouldn’t miss taking these embroidered and engraved honey leather boots with a matching vest. Outstanding under a white buttoned-up shirt. You’ll surely be our vineyard's next face.
Conclude your visit by gathering around a rustic table, adorned with seasonal delicacies that perfectly complement the wines. The hearty cuisine, inspired by the flavors of the region, warms both body and soul. Creating a truly unforgettable winter vineyard experience, an absolute must-try while at any of our vineyards. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Tuscan or Mexican hills.
